Haryana’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Sends a Resounding Message of Active Involvement

Chandigarh, December 3 – The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Haryana is making significant strides towards its goal of transforming India into a developed nation within the next 25 years. The active participation of 41,000 people on the third day of the journey underscores the widespread enthusiasm for the initiative.

A core aspect of the movement is the commitment of individuals to elevate India from a developing to a developed nation by 2047. Participants are determined to eradicate the mentality of slavery, foster pride in the country’s prosperity, strengthen national unity, and honor those who defend the nation. Additionally, there is a collective commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of citizenship.


Health check-ups were conducted for 8,000 people


Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has taken additional steps to ensure the success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Haryana by integrating it with Jan Samvad. This integration aims to provide citizens with immediate access to various government schemes and facilities. As part of this effort, health camps were set up under the Nirogi Haryana scheme, conducting health check-ups for approximately 8,000 people. Furthermore, TB tests were carried out for 5,500 people as part of the Prime Minister’s TB Free India campaign.

Recognition for women involved in notable activities


In Haryana, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra also places a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment. Around 300 women engaged in notable activities across various fields were honored during local events on the third day. This recognition serves to inspire other women to actively contribute to the community. Additionally, local athletes, eminent citizens, and artists are being acknowledged on these platforms, reinforcing the idea that development encompasses contributions from individuals across diverse fields.


Overall, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Haryana is not only mobilizing widespread participation but also addressing key areas such as health and women’s empowerment, creating a multifaceted approach towards the goal of a developed India.
